Here is a quick update on what happened this past week and weekend that has made me feel so loved and grateful. I feel like every year I owe myself some sort obligatory birthday post. Not just to gloat about myself or talk about how far I have come, but to honestly say thank you to all of the people that made an effort to make this time special for me. My actual birthday was spent here in Morocco with my husband and I had all of my favorite things present. There was good food, fun, and we watched a movie, which was perfect. I feel like the time we got to spend inside for my birthday was perfect because little did we know, we would have a long trip ahead of us the next day.
A New Adventure
On Thursday, I was whisked off to Grenoble, France to celebrate my birthday in a new city with new family members that I had never met before. The travel day was extremely long but as I came to find out… it was so worth every moment. Long story short (for now), I had an epic time and I am so happy to have had the opportunity to spend the rest of my Birth week amongst people that I can now call family while also doing what I love the most, traveling!
